A Bit About Me
Abtin Farrokh (b. 1991) began his musical journey at age seven in Tehran, Iran, by choosing violin as his main instrument. He started his education at the Tehran Conservatory. He participated in many local orchestras. Abtin played with Avam Orchestra for five years, serving as concertmaster and conductor assistant for three years.

After relocating to Los Angeles, he earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Violin Performance from California State University, Northridge. He has performed with the CSUN Orchestra and the Los Angeles Valley Orchestra in numerous concerts.
In a serious way, Abtin has been teaching violin and piano for more than 15 years. He is currently a proud member of the Roudaki Orchestra.
